scanning interface

To start the scanning process:

  1. Click on the Preview button at the bottom of the hp scanning program window.
  2. When the preview image appears, use the dotted selection window to crop any unwanted areas from the preview. Only the areas within the dotted outline will appear in the final scan.
  3. Once the selection area is correct, click the accept button.
The final image will appear in the location that was specified under the Save settings tab noted previously.

Advanced Scanning Options:

The only advanced options that should be used at the time of scanning is the RESIZE option.

It is important to use the resize option to enlarge an image when scanning to avoid image manipulation and loss of resolution problems later.
