Emptying the Deleted Items bin

To have the Deleted items bin empty automatically when Outlook is closed:

1. Open the Outlook Options window by selecting TOOLS - Options from the program menu.

Under the OTHER tab, Place a check mark in the option to Empty the Deleted Items folder upon exiting. This will automatically prompt you to empty the bin whenever Outlook is closed.

To empty the Deleted Items bin manually:

1. Click on the TOOLS menu and select the option to "Empty the "Deleted Items" folder. This will go and empty the entire contents out of the folder.
